Before spending hundreds, thousands, or even millions on a marketing campaign it's important to first know what you're aiming to achieve a.k.a. what are your goals for the campaign. As the brilliant Zig Ziglar once said, "If you aim at nothing you will hit it every time." So, before beginning your next marketing campaign first stop to consider what the overall objective is.

According to HubSpot.com all marketing goals can be broken down into 5 categories.

  1. Build Brand Awareness
  2. Generate High Quality Leads
  3. Grow and Maintain Thought Leadership
  4. Increase Customer Value
  5. Empower others to become brand ambassadors

As I wrap up this post and before you begin taking video footage or designing a new social post, I challenge you to ask yourself, "Does this marketing piece help me to reach my ultimate goal of (fill in the blank)?"

If you're not sure what the answer is keep a look out for my next episode where I go one step further in discussing how to achieve your marketing goals. If you can't wait until then or are ready to get started now, contact my team at Kamunikate as we help businesses to succeed online and offline.
